 The 1746-A10 houses the processor or I/O adapter module and the I/O modules. The 1746A10 can be interconnected with chassis interconnect cables for a maximum of 30 module slots. The allowed module slots of the 1746-A10 can be acknowledged locally by a processor or I/O adapter in the left-most slot of the 3 chassis collection.

The 1746-FIO4I Fast Analog Input module contains 2 analog input channels that are user selectable per channel for voltage or current.
