Description
The Remanufactured Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC SLC 500 Isolated Link Coupler can be panel-mounted and conforms to NEMA standard ICS 2-230, IEC1000-4-2, EN50081-2 Class A, and IEC1000-4-3 regulations and standards.
The coupler allows an SLC 500 fixed style or modular style processor to be communicated or multiplexed with a programming workstation, DH485 network and compatible devices.
The coupler includes a DH485 communication terminal, peripheral connection, and a CPU port. It also includes an LED indicator to provide power supply feedback.
In normal operation with the programmable controller connected to the link coupler, the processor powers both the link coupler and the peripheral device (DTAM, PIC< HHT), if connected, through the 1747-C11 cable. No external power supply is required. If the processor is not connected to the link coupler, a Class 2 24VDC power supply should be used to power the link coupler and peripheral device.
