PLCs
Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) control industrial equipment by collecting input measurements and using this information to control output devices based on a logic program defined by the user. PLCs can be found in a range of sizes, from small pocket-sized devices to larger ones that require rugged racks or backplanes. They can also provide modular functioning or advanced customization, thanks to the availability of extended backplanes and modules such as analog I/O, communication, or display modules. PLCs are highly versatile, making them ideal for processes that require dependable control, easy programming, and effective fault diagnostics.
