Micro PLCs

Micro PLCs perform the same functions as full-sized PLC, but with a smaller physical footprint. Micro PLCs commonly have smaller memory capacities and embedded I/Os than full-sized PLCs, so understanding an application's requirements is vital to selecting the suitability of a micro PLC. Consideration should also be given to how the operator will interface with the system, as many micro PLCs cannot connect to the most common HMIs / OITs. However, many micro PLCs offer a micro HMI interface product.
