The Allen-Bradley 1771-IND PLC-5 AC/DC Input Module is designed for use with a 1771 Series B I/O chassis. A 1771-ASB remote I/O adapter allows the module to be used with any combination of I/O modules. 

The module contains input filtering to limit the effects of voltage transients caused by contact bounce and/or radiated electrical noise. 

The module receives power through the 1771 I/O chassis backplane from the chassis power supply. The module requires 250mA from the output of this supply.
