Remanufactured GE-Emerson IC655PWR500 Series Five Power Supply

The GE-Emerson IC655PWR500 Series Five Power Supply provides regulated 5VDC voltage to the base unit backplane to power modules within the base unit. This unit is installed in the leftmost slot on a base unit. The input voltage is 115/230VAC, which can be selected by configuring a jumper on the terminal block on the front of the power supply module. The DC power supply operates from a 20 to 29VDC power source.

The Series Five power supply features an LED power light and eight terminals at the bottom of the module for wiring connections to the power source, ground connections, and a RUN relay. The power indicator light displays green when the 5VDC outlet voltage is at the specified operating level, and turns off to indicate that it is not. The top two terminals are RUN relay connections and are internally connected to normally open contacts that close when the CPU is switched to RUN mode. The third and fourth terminals are connected internally to the signal ground (C) and chassis ground (G) The next two terminals are used for DC power source connections, and the final two allow the selection of a 115VAC or 230VAC input power source.
