The GE-Emerson IC687BEM713 Series 90-70 Bus Expansion Module is a transmitter module that provides communication functions in FIP redundant systems. This unit is designed to be installed on one side of a dual backplane redundancy rack with the redundancy communications module (RCM) on the other. This module occupies a single VME width slot and has two built-in connectors - one for connection to a programming device and the other for connection to the RCM. It also includes three green LEDs to indicate the status of each port and module status.
