Remanufactured GE-Emerson IC655MDL527 Series Five Input Module

The GE-Emerson IC655MDL527 is a 115/230VAC input module with 16 optically isolated circuits that connect to user input devices. The operating voltage range is 80 to 265VAC volts at 48 to 63Hz with a maximum open circuit voltage of 265VAC volts. The input current is 8.4mA at 115VAC or 18mA at 230VAC. This module features 16 LEDs on the front of the module that reflect the ON or OFF state of each circuit. They can also provide the starting I/O address for the module if commanded to do so through programming.

Connections to each circuit are made to the removable terminal block on the front of the module. The input circuits are isolated from each other relative to the AC power source. Each input has a separate neutral connection, which allows each input to be powered from different phases of the AC supply if required. The user must supply a source of AC power, which can be from 80 to 265 VAC, to sense the state of the inputs to the module.
