Description

The GE-Emerson IC655MDL502 is a 24VDC input module with 32 negative logic circuits used for connection to user input devices. The input circuits of this module operate with 10.2 to 26.4VDC voltage and have a 10mA current rating at 24VDC. The 32 LEDs on the front of the module indicate the status of each circuit and the top 16 can provide the module starting I/O address during programming.

Input circuits of the module are divided into four groups, with 8 circuits in each group. Field wiring to each circuit is made to the removable terminal block on the front of the module. The circuit groups are labeled A through D, with the input terminals labeled 1 to 8. This module requires a 12 to 24VDC power supply to sense the status of these inputs. All four groups can be powered from a single power source or each group can be powered from a separate source.
