Description

The GE-Emerson IC655MDL501 is a 24VDC input module with 16 negative logic circuits to connect user input devices. The circuits of this module operate with 12 to 24VDC voltage and have a current rating of 7mA at 12VDC or 15mA at 24VDC. The 16 LEDs on the front of the module indicate the on/off status of the circuits and can provide the module's starting I/O address when programming.

Connections to each circuit are made to the removable terminal block on the front of the module. The input circuits are divided into two groups, labeled A and B, with input terminals labeled 1 to 8. To provide status indication for these inputs a 12 to 24VDC must be provided. Both groups can be powered from a single power source or each group can be powered from a separate source.
