The GE-Emerson IC655BEM530 Series Three I/O Interface Module allows Series Three base units to interface with the Series Five programmable controller CPU. Up to four of these modules can be installed into the I/O slots of the Series Five PLC. Each interface module can support connections with up to three Series Three base units and service up to 1024 I/O points (512 inputs/512 outputs). The DIP switches on the module are used to configure the number of I/O points to be serviced.
