The GE-Emerson IC600RM715 Series Six CMOS Data Storage Memory Module is used in the Redundant Processor Unit (RPU) and provides 8,192 words of random access memory. The module is supplied with a battery; however since battery backup is not required for RPU functions, the battery and its associated status LED are not used in the RPU.
