The GE-Emerson IC609EXP121 Series One Junior I/O Expansion Unit can be included in a Series One Junior PLC system when more than 24 I/O points are required. There is no requirement to match voltage types. The expansion unit connects to the basic unit through an I/O expansion cable, which is the same cable used when connecting a basic unit to a 5 or 10-slot expansion rack.
