The GE-Emerson IC610PER154 Series One PROM Writer Unit allows the user program in CMOS memory to be transferred to PROM memory, thereby providing a convenient method of non-volatile (permanent) storage for those programs. The PROM Writer unit is a compact, easy-to-use plug-on unit that attaches directly to the PC in the same manner as the programmer. In addition to providing a means of non-volatile storage, an added advantage of PROM memory is that several PROMs can be programmed, each containing a different program, for use as required.
