The GE-Emerson IC630MDL301 Series Three Input Module provides circuits each designed to receive a single discrete (ON/OFF) signal from user supplied devices. Typical input devices include pushbuttons, limit switches, and relay contacts. A 24VDC external power source must be supplied by the user for sensing the state of the inputs. All 16 inputs are powered from a single source. User devices are connected to the input circuits by connecting the field wiring to a connector mounted on the faceplate of the module. Recommended wire size for connection to the module is stranded No. 12 AWG wire. Two wires per terminal are possible with No. 14 AWG wire. The ON state of each circuit is indicated by a corresponding LED.
