The GE-Emerson Series 90-30 IC693ACC301 Backup Battery for RAM Memory is accessed by removing the cover plate located at the bottom of the power supply faceplate. The battery is mounted on a plastic clip attached to the inside of this cover, and connects to the CPU through a cable that has one end wired to the positive/negative sides of the battery and the other end wired to a connector that mates with one of two identical connectors mounted on the PLC.
