The GE-Emerson IC698RMX016 RX7i Redundancy Memory Xchange Module functions as a node within a reflective memory network or serves as a dedicated link connecting two CPUs within a redundant system. It is designed to work with the 5565 series of memory devices and has the capability to assess and control the extent of data exchange between a PLC and other computational devices.

The IC698RMX016 is designed for installation within a solitary slot in the RX7i PACSystems rack.
