Description
The GE-Emerson IC200UAL006 VersaMax Micro Controller Processor is a modular 23-point PLC with a 120/240VAC power supply. The processor can be programmed online using the PAC Machine Edition software or by inserting a pre-programmed accessory memory module without interrupting the application process, as the processor is capable of evaluating changes while still running applications. Both ladder diagram instruction lists are allowed, even within the same program.
The processor is expandable to 176 I/O points and can be achieved solely by inserting the additional I/O modules. Communication between the processor and a Serial network is made possible by two serial ports: one for RS-232 communication and one for RS-485 communication that, when coupled with the VersaMax SE modules, are able to connect to an Ethernet network.
