The GE-Emerson IC752DNMU11 DeviceNet Master Scanner Communications Module provides fieldbus connectivity from a ControlStation CE IIx to a DeviceNet network. In addition, the module provides 128kb of battery-backed memory for safe retention of critical system parameters across power cycles.
The DeviceNet software driver must be resident in the ControlStation for proper operation of the communications module. The DeviceNet driver is available as a special add-on to CIMPLICITY® Machine Edition v2.5, the ControlStation configuration package. This add-on is labeled 2.5 S2.
