The Allen-Bradley 1762-OW16 MicroLogix Relay Output Expansion Module energizes and de-energizes electrical loads, and enhances the output capability of PLCs such as the MicroLogix 1100, 1200, and 1400. It is recommended that the user install surge suppressors across the inductive load. Surge suppressors may contribute to extending the module's operational lifespan by protecting the high-inrush current of inductive loads. The module may be mounted directly to the panel or on a DIN rail.
